Tonight, Redmi is hosting its new product launch conference, where they have officially unveiled the Redmi Buds 5 wireless noise-canceling headphones. These headphones, now available for purchase starting at just 199 yuan (about $27), have flagship-level noise reduction capabilities. With a noise reduction depth of up to 46db and a wide-band noise reduction range of 2kHz, they offer three levels of noise reduction depth, three transparency modes, dual Mic A call noise reduction, and various other features.
Furthermore, the product showcases an ergonomic design, a lightweight charging box, support for Bluetooth 5.3 dual device connections, and compatibility with the Xiaomi headphone App. Notably, it features an independent acoustic rear cavity, a 1.6m precision wound dynamic coil, and a 12.4mm ultra-large polymer titanium-plated dynamic coil, all certified by NetEase Cloud Sound hardware certification.
In terms of battery life, the Redmi Buds 5 impressively has 40 hours of ultra-long battery life and claims the ability to charge for just 5 minutes, providing 2 hours of music playback. But that’s not all; Redmi has also introduced a trendy limited edition of the Redmi Buds 5, known as the AAPE edition. This edition comes in classic green camouflage gift packaging and includes trendy ICON designs, customized skins, and more. The product is currently available for pre-order and will go on sale for the first time at 10:00 on September 26, priced at 299 yuan (about $41).
