XGIMI has silently introduced the XGIMI Play 3 PTZ projector, a portable projector that is small and easy to carry. By utilizing DLP display technology, it recognizes as a DLP PTZ projector that one can comfortably hold with one hand.
The XGIMI Play 3 has a compact body weighing only 1.1 kg, making it easily graspable and convenient for storage and transportation. Furthermore, it offers a wide-angle adjustment of up to 120 degrees, enabling ceiling projection, and allowing you to enjoy movies while reclining.
In terms of its display configuration, it relies on DLP display technology, incorporating a 0.23-inch DMD chip, 1080p resolution, a 1.2:1 throw ratio, 400 CVIA lumens, and a remarkable 124% Rec.709 color gamut. Additionally, Eagle Eye computational optical technology equips it with features such as automatic keystone correction, intelligent obstacle avoidance, automatic screen alignment, and automatic screen focus.
The Amlogic 950X2 processor powers the projector, and it is accompanied by 2GB of memory and 16GB of storage space in its core components. It boasts integrated dual 8W high-power speakers and a passive bass unit, although it lacks a built-in battery, necessitating external power sources like a mobile phone charger or a mobile power supply.
Connectivity options encompass HDMI 2.0, USB 2.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB-C interface. Finally, it supports wireless connections through WIFI and Bluetooth, offers AI language control, and even allows for voting. It can boot up in just 5 seconds and is capable of playing 3D videos.
The XGIMI Play3 PTZ projector has made its debut for pre-sale, priced at 1,999 yuan (about $275), and includes a gimbal stand. The official release is scheduled for September 28.
