The Redmi Note 13 series is officially set to launch tonight at 19:00. Just this afternoon, Xiaomi also conducted the final warm-up for this new phone. The entire Redmi Note 13 Pro series will have a 16GB + 512GB memory combination, offering flagship LPDDR5 memory and UFS3.1 flagship flash memory.
Furthermore, the Redmi Note13 Pro and Pro+ models both have a second-generation 1.5K high-gloss eye protection screen. The device features a 200-megapixel main camera. It incorporates Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. It includes an under-screen fingerprint sensor. The model has already released its official parameters and configuration details. Now, the pricing is the most intriguing aspect. Credible reports suggest that this conference will reveal at least three models: Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+.
The standard and Pro versions will feature OLED direct screens, while the Pro+ version will adopt a curved screen design, marking Redmi’s first use of such a design. The peak brightness can reach an impressive 1,800 nits. The Pro version will equip Qualcomm’s second-generation Snapdragon 7s processor, utilizing Samsung’s 4nm process technology. The Pro+ version will debut with the first-ever Dimensity 7200-Ultra, powered by TSMC’s 4nm process. It will boast an 80% improvement in GPU performance. However, we expect it to perform slightly below the Dimensity 8200.
Redmi has taken the bold step of bringing flagship-level IP68 waterproof and dustproof capabilities to mid-range phones. The Redmi Note 13 Pro series will support IP68 waterproof and dustproof functions, making it the standout model in its category.
The specifications of the Redmi Note 13 clearly indicate that this new device packs a lot of features. While we expect the price to exceed 2,000 Yuan (about $275), it’s unlikely to be exorbitant, considering the phone’s positioning in the market; affordability remains a key factor.
