The Redmi K70 series, Redmi’s final product for 2023, is poised for a November release, heralding the arrival of a new generation of flagship devices. Just recently, the Geekbench benchmarking platform featured a mobile phone bearing the model number “Xiaomi 23117RK66C,” which appears to be none other than the Redmi K70 Pro. This particular device has demonstrated its capabilities with a single-core score of 1100 points and a multi-core score of 5150 points. Furthermore, there’s a variant with 16GB of storage available.
It’s worth noting that the Redmi K70 Pro will come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 annual flagship processor. However, since this is a test model, the benchmark scores may not fully reflect its ultimate performance. Expect significant improvements in benchmark scores when the mass-produced models hit the market.
To provide a point of comparison, the Geekbench 5 single-core score for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 stands at 1490 points, with a multi-core score hovering around 5250 points. Meanwhile, the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ achieves a single-core score of roughly 1580 points and a multi-core score of about 5100 points. Keep in mind that these scores are provided for reference purposes only.
Reports suggest that the Redmi K70 Pro will retain its 2K display and might even ditch the plastic frame to enhance its visual appeal and texture. Moreover, it has support for 125W fast charging, promising a compelling blend of performance and affordability. According to information from the IMEI database, the Redmi K70 series will comprise at least three new models: the Redmi K70E, Redmi K70, and Redmi K70 Pro.
