The recent official announcement stated that Xiaomi would release the Redmi Pad SE in the Chinese market on September 21. It also unveiled important product-related information during the warm-up activities for this new tablet.
The Redmi Pad SE tablet features the MIUI Pad system, optimized for horizontal screen scenarios. Furthermore, the system enables split-screen browsing, allows recording while reading, and facilitates chatting while watching dramas. It also supports mini windows, reducing interruptions and allowing users to reply to messages at any time. Moreover, the top 200 applications have all received comprehensive horizontal screen adaptation, enhancing the completeness of content presentation.
The Redmi Pad SE features an 11-inch LCD screen, an 8000mAh battery, and the same sleep mode as the Xiaomi Mi Pad 6 series. It has undergone horizontal screen adaptation for the Top 200 applications, enabling split-screen browsing, dual application opening, and mini windows for a better user experience.
The tablet maintains an all-metal integrated body with a symmetrical full-screen design on the front. The upper left corner houses a rectangular rear single camera module, available in three colors: lavender purple, graphite gray, and mint green. Reports suggest it might feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 as its main control hardware. For imaging, expect a 5-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel rear single camera module.
Based on leaked information about the Redmi Pad SE, it is evident that, in addition to its probable entry-level market positioning, it aims to introduce more highlights in user experience and maintain a user-friendly pricing strategy. Specific product details are yet to be confirmed, pending further information from Redmi.
