On September 21, the Redmi Note 13 Pro series will officially make its debut, introducing not only mobile phones but also a range of new products, including tablets and headphones. Today, they’ve officially announced the Redmi Buds 5, set to launch on the same day, alongside the Note 13 series.
These headphones boast impressive features, including 46dB active noise reduction, a noise reduction range spanning 2kHz, and AI-powered dual-microphone noise reduction for crystal-clear calls.
In terms of design, the Redmi Buds 5 offers three color options. A notable change from the previous generation is the headphone box, which has transitioned from its previous rounded rectangular shape to a design reminiscent of a girl’s powder box, giving it a delightful “treasure box” feel and an overall more eye-catching appearance.
Furthermore, the earphones now feature a handle design, a departure from the handleless design of the previous generation.
While specific earphone specifications have not yet received an official disclosure, it’s important to mention that the Redmi Buds 4 earphones offer 35dB active noise reduction, provide a 3-level adjustment, utilize dual-microphone AI call noise reduction, feature a 30-hour battery life, support fast charging, give you 6 hours of continuous playback on a single charge, and work seamlessly with Bluetooth 5.2 and MIUI’s pop-up window feature, all for just 199 yuan ($27.35).
