Today, Xiaomi Mall initiated the warm-up campaign for a “high-end electric heating product” set to launch on September 20. The official poster reveals this new addition to the Xiaomi Mijia Water Heater.
The warm-up poster provides a glimpse of the Xiaomi Mijia Water Heater, serving as the proverbial “tip of the iceberg.” Anticipated to embrace the minimalist design characteristic of Mijia’s products, it will maintain a square form while incorporating elegant curved contours.
While the official details remain scant, three key features have been hinted at slimmer design, enhanced speed, and increased power. These attributes likely allude to the appliance’s sleek and lightweight profile, swifter hot water delivery, and heightened water output capacity, catering to various household scenarios.
Currently, Mijia offers the Smart Zero Cold Water Gas Water Heater S1, available in two sizes, 16L, and 18L, with respective rated loads of 30kW and 34kW. This system employs whole-house zero cold water technology, preheating water in the pipes to ensure instant hot water availability for showers. Additionally, the water heater boasts compatibility with Xiaoai voice control, advanced preheating, and seamless integration with other smart devices like Xiaoai speakers.
