Xiaomi unveiled two hair dryer models today. The H701 is priced at 579 yuan (about $79), while the Xiaomi Mijia Hair Dryer H501 SE is priced at 249 yuan (about $34).
The H501 SE has a powerful 110,000-rpm brushless motor, delivering a perceived wind speed of at least 62 m/s. It offers a total of 8 different blowing modes, weighs approximately 338g, and comes in two color options, milk blue and white (Please note: The blue variant is not currently available).
Furthermore, this hair dryer incorporates negative ion technology, simultaneously releasing 200 million negative ions during operation. These ions play a vital role in neutralizing static electricity within the hair, reducing static-induced damage, and promoting healthier, more hydrated hair quality.
Reporters have stated that the Xiaomi Mijia Hair Dryer H501 SE features an integrated intelligent temperature control chip that continuously monitors air temperature in real-time, adjusting the airflow to be gentler and less harmful to your hair. Additionally, the air outlet features an NTC thermistor to prevent excessive air temperature, safeguarding against hair and scalp damage while expediting the drying process and minimizing frizz.
