Notably, Philips Hue Secure will offer both wired and wireless (battery-powered) versions. The wired variant will carry a price tag of US$218, while the wireless version will be priced at US$273. These new products will come equipped with advanced night vision capabilities and will support information streaming at resolutions up to 1080P.

Adding to this development, FCC certification has been granted to two of Philips’ home security cameras. These cameras feature a magnetic design and offer support for fixed installation using brackets, which aims to enhance user convenience.

Signify, Philips’ parent company, expands beyond cameras with a new contact sensor for doors and windows. These sensors will promptly alert users whenever someone opens these monitored entry points. Furthermore, these sensors can be integrated with lighting systems; for example, when a door is detected as being opened, the corresponding lighting fixtures can be automatically activated. Individually, a single sensor is priced at $44, while a kit containing two sensors comes at a cost of $76.
