Samsung Electronics has introduced the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic Astro Edition, a limited-edition watch. This watch draws inspiration from astronomy. It pays homage to contributions in astronomy, mathematics, and time in the Middle East and North Africa.
This exclusive watch will be available in the Middle East and North Africa, including countries like Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, and Jordan.
Continuing Samsung’s commitment to craftsmanship and design, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic Astro Edition takes inspiration from the astrolabe—an ancient astronomical instrument. The watch’s dial features constellations, stars, and celestial motifs, providing a visual astronomical experience.
Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic Astro Edition includes innovative software features inspired by the astrolabe. These features include a compass and moon phase/sun phase display on the dial. These functionalities assist users in navigation during travels and tracking changes in the positions of the moon and sun.
In addition to its design and features, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic Astro Edition holds collectible value. The bezel is made from ceramics and adorned with patterns depicting 24 constellations, enhancing its rarity. Buyers will also receive a fabric strap and a set of Astro Edition collectibles, expanding choices and enhancing the watch’s collectibility.
