Redmi recently hosted a strategic conference announcing the upcoming release of the Redmi K60 Ultra, a super-large model in the Redmi K60 series. The official has warmed up the new phone as the release date approaches. Lu Weibing, a prominent figure in the Xiaomi Group and the Redmi brand, emphasized the device’s focus on performance, positioning it as the ultimate performance in the K60 series.
The Redmi K60 Ultra has a Dimensity 9200+ chip and an independent display chip X7, complemented by the new Furious Engine 2.0. The new berserk engine 2.0 enables the phone to achieve a rare 144Hz full-blooded super frame, resulting in smooth and visually impressive gaming. The device also performs 1.5K super-resolution using the self-developed violent engine technology and the independent graphics chip X7.
Regarding its performance, the K60 Ultra ranks first in Android with an AnTuTu V10 running score of over 1.77 million points. Furthermore, the phone will join the first batch of major version upgrades of MIUI 15, enhancing the software experience.
The Redmi K60 Ultra supports 120W fast charging, as its 3C quality certification indicates. There are also rumors that the device might support 5G roaming across different networks, allowing uninterrupted 5G services even in areas with no 5G coverage from the home operator.
Regarding its appearance, the phone is expected to feature a straight screen with a central punch-hole design, a rear rectangular camera module, and the power and volume buttons on the right side of the rear. It will likely have an under-screen fingerprint recognition solution, offering dual glass and stitched embossed plain leather versions.
