AYANEO’s Android handheld, AYANEO Pocket AIR, is available for pre-order today. The official press conference is scheduled for late August, and Chinese players can expect their shipments at the end of the same month.
The Pocket AIR’s design is slim and lightweight, measuring 17mm thick and weighing around 380g. It follows the AIR series tradition and features a red-and-white color scheme. The joystick adds a creative touch with its yellowish color, providing a retro experience.

Under the hood, the Pocket AIR includes a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor and a 5.5-inch 1080p OLED display. The handheld also features a Hall joystick + Hall trigger combination and utilizes the SoundTapMagic sound vibration system. With an X-axis linear motor and a large 7350mAh battery, the device ensures smooth performance and long-lasting gameplay. Moreover, its X86-level active cooling system enhances the gaming experience.
Regarding software, the AYANEO Pocket AIR has a custom desktop launcher called AYAHome and a pre-installed AYASpace App. The interface is organized into five sections: “Focus,” “Library,” “Moment,” “Settings,” and “Personal Center,” providing easy access to various features. The official also provides an extensive cloud-based retro game database powered by self-developed algorithms that automatically match game information such as cover art, descriptions, and videos for local game resources.
