FIMI recently revealed plans for the imminent launch of this FIMI Manta VTOL Fixed-Wing Drone.
The FIMI Manta VTOL fixed-wing UAV features a bionic layout design with flying wings. Additionally, it supports vertical take-off and landing, utilizing a Y3 configuration tilt-rotor structure and combining the advantages of multi-rotor hovering and fixed wings. The design achieves high-efficiency cruising, resulting in an impressive flight time of up to 85 minutes.
The drone is manufactured from lightweight, high-density, and EPP material and exhibits pressure resistance, cushioning, and heat insulation properties. Reinforced carbon rods in wings improve flight performance and allow easy assembly. A four-link tilting structure with a locking mechanism, metal tooth servos, and all-metal rocker arms enhance impact resistance and reduce voids.
A spacious battery compartment can accommodate various battery types inside the fuselage, such as 3S1p18650, 4S1p18650, and 3S1p21700. The UAV has a versatile equipment compartment that supports analog and high-definition video transmission and allows for certain expandability. The FIMI G21 Pro three-axis cloud camera is fully compatible with this setup. On the software front, the drone supports the Ardupilot open-source firmware, which adds a higher level of playability to its capabilities.
All these exceptional features come at an estimated price of approximately 999 yuan ($140).
