LG Electronics is introducing Labs DUOBO, a capsule coffee machine, on Kickstarter, the renowned crowdfunding platform in the United States. Departing from the conventional one-capsule extraction, DUOBO can simultaneously brew two capsules with distinct tastes and aromas, enabling users to indulge in a personalized coffee experience.

The dedicated app further empowers customers to craft coffee recipes by adjusting parameters like extraction temperature and amount for each capsule. This flexibility allows for a diverse range of coffee possibilities, even with identical pills, simply by altering the combination and extraction conditions.

Inspired by cosmic exploration, the LG Labs DUOBO design seeks to unlock the “taste of the universe.” It boasts a full HD IPS display where the cup is placed during extraction, offering a mesmerizing experience with DUOBO-specific animations and coffee-related content.

Previously, LG Electronics hosted an exclusive DUOBO showcase in New York, attended by local baristas and citizens. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with baristas commending the machine for delivering excellent coffee without sacrificing the brewing process’s excitement. They appreciated the convenience of using the app to create their coffee blends effortlessly, setting the tone for a delightful day.

To make LG Labs DUOBO accessible to coffee enthusiasts, the Kickstarter campaign will offer an exclusive initial sale price of $300 lower than the retail price, at just $499.
