Xiaomi is expected to host a new product launch event next month and formally introduce various devices, including Mix Fold 3. Moreover, the latest revelations provide detailed information about the new product categories.
The latest revelation asks, “Which one are you looking forward to? All new Xiaomi devices in August will be online, including the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 flagship folding with 67W, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 6 Max ultra-large screen tablet with 67W, the Redmi K60 Extreme Edition with 120W, and the Redmi Tablet 2 with 22.5W/18W.”
When a device receives certification on the network, it indicates that its official release is drawing closer. In other words, next month will mark the official arrival of new products such as the Mi MIX Fold3, Mi Pad 6 Max, Redmi K60 Extreme Edition, and Redmi Pad 2. Currently, most of the details regarding the devices have been exposed.
Mix Fold 3
Reportedly, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 boasts a thin and lightweight body design, featuring a white curved glass body and a new water drop hinge that enhances anti-drop performance. It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip for improved performance.
The Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 has four rear cameras, including a 3.2X portrait center focus and a 5X periscope telephoto lens. This model is also Xiaomi’s first folding screen phone to have a periscope lens.
Regarding fast charging, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 will support 67W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. Additionally, this new device will have enhanced communication capabilities.
Mi Pad 6 series
Furthermore, Xiaomi introduces updates to their tablet devices, explicitly launching a new member of the Mi Pad 6 series known as the Mi Pad 6 Max.
Based on the information provided, the Mi Pad 6 Max appears to have a screen size ranging from 13 to 14 inches, which is considerably large for a tablet.
Regarding other specifications, previous leaks have mentioned that the Mi Pad 6 Max might feature a 2.5K resolution screen. Furthermore, it has Snapdragon 8+ chip, storage with 12GB+512GB, and a built-in 10000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. Additionally, it will come with a USB 3.2 Type-C interface.
Redmi
Redmi is also expected to unveil several new products, combining mobile phone and tablet features next month. The Redmi K60 Ultra will feature a 1.5k straight screen design with a 144Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by a Dimensity 9200+ chip and support 120W fast charging.
The new Redmi tablet will be an LCD screen of more than 10 inches but smaller than 11 inches. The screen will support 2K resolution and have a 90Hz refresh rate. Its core will house a Snapdragon 680 chip, an 8000mAh built-in battery, a 5-megapixel front, and an 8-megapixel rear camera. It will be priced between 100 and 1,000 yuan, targeting the entry-level market.
