Today, OnePlus officially announced that they would start a pre-purchase activity for their latest product, the OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro, featuring on the 17th of this month. The pre-purchase action will be limited to ten users only.
OnePlus launched its first mechanical keyboard in February this year. The mechanical keyboard has 81 keys and incorporates built-in RGB lighting effects. The keyboard features a CNC-processed aluminum shell, showcasing its high-quality and durable characteristics. Additionally, users can choose between two types of critical switches: “Winter Campfire” and “Summer Breeze.” The keycaps for “Winter Campfire” are made of PBT plastic, while the keycaps for “Summer Breeze” are crafted from a unique “marble glue” material. Furthermore, the keycaps support hot-swappable functions.
The OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro is designed with a three-stage switch on the side, enabling users to customize and activate various functions by rotating the knob. It also offers Bluetooth 5.1 wireless connectivity and can be used as a wired keyboard through the USB-C port. The keyboard has a 4000mAh battery. It provides up to 100 hours of continuous usage for the RGB lighting effect under the lowest brightness setting.
