DJI plans to launch the Air 3, its latest mid-range drone. Winfuture has leaked the official marketing image of the drone—a mid-range drone featuring a dual-camera system similar to the high-end Mavic 3 series. However, unlike the Mavic 3 series, DJI did not partner with Hasselblad to develop the camera, as indicated by the absence of the Hasselblad logo on the DJI Air 3’s camera.
The Air 3 boasts a new battery with a capacity of 4241mAh or 62.6Wh, approximately 30% larger than the previous model, resulting in a significantly improved flight time compared to the Air 2 or Air 2S.
Air 3’s launch comes with two new controllers, only sold with the drone bundle, not as standalone kits. Additionally, DJI plans to introduce several bundles, including two Fly-More-Combos that include extra batteries and other accessories.
Leaked information from Amazon UK reveals the pricing details. The Air 3 with the RC-N2 controller will cost 962 pounds. The Fly More Combo set with the old RC-2 controller will be priced at 1199 pounds.
