Meta’s Threads App has had a promising start, with an impressive number of over 30 million registered users since its launch on Wednesday evening. Although this figure is comparatively smaller than the user bases of popular social networks like Twitter and Instagram, attracting such a significant number of users on the first day is truly remarkable.

According to recent updates, the application gained 2 million registered users within two hours of going live, 4 million after four hours, and 10 million users within seven hours of its launch. There are already 30 million users, and the user count continues to rise steadily.

In addition to the growing user base, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg engaged with many Threads users to discuss the platform’s future. When asked about Threads potentially surpassing the significance of Twitter, Zuckerberg expressed his belief that a public communication app with over 1 billion users is attainable, but it may take time to achieve.
