MIUI 15 will bring numerous improvements. These include AI-generated wallpapers and visual upgrades like advanced animations and a redesigned gesture navigation system. It will also prevent outdated app installations and allow energy disabling when entering the lock screen password. Moreover, it will offer better privacy features, such as enhanced protection for photos and videos and more explicit indications of which apps access location information for specific purposes.
As per the official statement from Xiaomi MIUI, the lineup of supported devices comprises Mi 13 and three other models. The announcement states, “During the recent Google I/O event, the official release of Android 14 was announced. These devices eligible for Android 14 Beta 1 include Mi 13, Mi 13 Pro, and Mi Pad 6. Developers can now utilize these models to explore the MIUI 14 developer preview, also built on Android 14 Beta 1. This allows them to experiment with new APIs, evaluate platform modifications, and ensure their applications are ready for the latest version.
The MIUI team has discovered the alpha version of MIUI 15 on the Xiaomi server. Information obtained from Mi Code reveals that the initial test version, MIUI-V23.5.22, began development on May 22.

MIUI 15 is set to bring enhancements across system animations, practical features, and other areas. It is expected to be compatible with a broader range of Xiaomi models and will likely be based on Android 13 and Android 14.
