On June 30th, Gizcoupon reported that according to the latest update from Weibo(a Chinese social platform) blogger @数码闲聊站, a third-party phone case for the Xiaomi Redmi K60 Ultra has made an appearance. 数码闲聊站 expressed surprise, stating that this phone case “bears a striking resemblance to the sketches I shared a month ago.” Furthermore, he mentioned that the phone case features a glass back and a textured leather version with stitched patterns, both of which have a “pleasant” tactile feel.
Gizcoupon noticed that as early as May 26th this year(Beijing Time), 数码闲聊站 had already released a design schematic for the Redmi K60 Ultra. The image displayed a rectangular camera module on the back of the phone. It consists of two larger cameras, one smaller camera, and a flash. From the front, the device is expected to have a centered punch-hole display with narrow bezels.
As can be seen from the picture, the power button area of the phone has a very obvious opening.
Opinions regarding this opening are divided among users. Some speculate that the Redmi K60 Ultra may feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, while others express disbelief, pointing out that the showcased phone case is made of PP material.
Xiaomi Redmi K60 Ultra Specifications
Based on previous reports, the Redmi K60 Ultra is expected to have the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor. However, it has reportedly abandoned the plastic screen frame. It opted for a 1.5K narrow bezel AMOLED flat display supplied by Huaxing. Additionally, the device will feature a metal frame and a rear camera with a 50-megapixel main lens. According to information gathered by Gizcoupon, the initial digits “2307” suggest that this phone may be launched in July 2023.
