On June 28th, Gizcoupon reported that international media sources have revealed that Tesla CEO Elon Musk has disclosed to others his use of low doses of Ketamine for depression treatment. Furthermore, it has been observed that he has also consumed this substance for recreational purposes.

Records indicate that Ketamine typically presents itself as a white powder. It is often referred to as “K” powder due to the initial letter of its English name. In clinical medicine, it is commonly used as an anesthetic. Moreover, it is classified as a Schedule I controlled substance.

Based on accounts from individuals who have witnessed Musk using Ketamine and other informed sources, Musk has informed others that he utilizes microdoses of Ketamine to treat his depression. Additionally, he has been seen consuming full doses of Ketamine at parties.

Musk has not directly commented on these reports. However, less than two hours after the international media coverage was released, he took to Twitter to express his thoughts, stating that antidepressants turn people into zombies and occasional use of Ketamine is a better alternative.

“In the United States, depression is overdiagnosed. But it truly is a neurochemical issue for some individuals,” Musk tweeted early Tuesday morning. “However, there have been far too many cases where antidepressants (SSRIs, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) turn people into zombies. Based on my observations with friends, occasional use of Ketamine is a better choice.”

In fact, Musk is just one of several Silicon Valley executives who have experimented with hallucinogens. According to insiders, Sergey Brin, co-founder of Google, has also used psychedelic mushrooms. However, a spokesperson for Brin has not yet commented on the matter.
