On June 9th, Gizcoupon reported that it was previously reported, albeit unconfirmed, that the subsidiary of Vivo in Poland would be withdrawing from the region. Subsequently, GSMOnline.pl received a statement from vivo, which reads as follows:
“Continuous market analysis and the selection of appropriate business strategies are crucial for the vivo brand in collaboration with local representatives. We regret to inform you that the authorized distributor of the brand in Poland has decided to cease its operations. Nevertheless, our customers can still rely on powerful products from vivo, comprehensive customer support, and uninterrupted software updates.”
Currently, the vivo Poland official website (Gizcoupon note: vivo.com/pl) is still operational, and retailers will continue to sell their smartphones. It remains unclear how long this situation will last, which might imply that new vivo models will not be launched in Poland.
In contrast, OPPO denies exiting the Polish market. The global version of the Reno10 series is confirmed to be released in July.
