Gizcoupon reported on May 22nd that vivo has recently unveiled the all-new vivo S17e. It officially went on sale on May 20th, Beijing time. The new device comes in three versions and is available in three colors: Desert Gold, Midnight Black, and Clear Sky Blue. The pricing details are as follows:
- 8GB+128GB version: priced at 2,099 yuan (approximately 299 US dollars).
- 8GB+256GB version: priced at 2,299 yuan (approximately 328 US dollars).
- 12GB+256GB version: priced at 2,499 yuan (approximately 356 US dollars).
The vivo S17e made its debut in China with the TSMC N4P Dimensity 7200 processor. (Note: an upgraded version of the 1080 core, as mentioned by Gizcoupon). In addition, it features LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The device boasts a 6.78-inch OLED display with a centered punch-hole design and a resolution of 2400×1080. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, a 300Hz touch sampling rate for gaming, and has a peak brightness of 1300nit, providing a billion-color display.
The MediaTek Dimensity 7200 is built on TSMC’s second-generation 4nm process. The CPU consists of 2× 2.8GHz Cortex-A715 cores and 6× 2.0GHz Cortex-A510 Refreshed cores. The GPU remains the Mali-G610 MC4.
Other features include a 16MP front-facing camera and a rear camera setup consisting of a 64MP main lens and a 2MP depth sensor, accompanied by a soft light portrait mode. The device has a 4,600mAh battery and supports 80W/66W fast charging. Additionally, it comes with an 80W charger, capable of charging up to 50% in just 20 minutes. With a thickness of 7.4mm and weighing 178g, it also supports all-scenario NFC functionality.
