On May 13th, Gizcoupon reported that a new mid-range OPPO smartphone featuring Snapdragon 695 appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking website. It is expected to adopt a design similar to that of the OPPO Reno8 T 5G. The new OPPO smartphone model is CPH2527.
OPPO CPH2527 scored 899 in the single-core test and 2080 in the multi-core test on Geekbench 6. Moreover, it will feature an octa-core processor codenamed “holi”. It is expected to be the Snapdragon 695 SoC (with a maximum CPU frequency of 2.21GHz). It will also come with 8GB of RAM and run on the ColorOS operating system based on Android 13.
The release of a mid-range smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 695 SoC is expected to appeal to consumers looking for a budget-friendly option that still delivers strong performance. The Snapdragon 695 is an 8-core chipset released on October 27th, 2021, manufactured using 6-nanometer process technology. It features two Kryo 660 Gold cores (Cortex-A78) operating at 2.2GHz and six Kryo 660 Silver cores (Cortex-A55) operating at 1.7GHz. Furthermore, it is designed to provide powerful performance and advanced AI capabilities.
In addition to this device, OPPO is preparing for other smartphones. These include the expected release of the OPPO Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro+. The OPPO F23 and F23 Pro 5G will be released first on May 15th, Beijing time.
