Gizcoupon on April 28th that a new device with the model number “CPH2529” from OPPO recently appeared on Geekbench. It is expected to be the global version of OPPO A98.
From the Geekbench page, the OPPO A98 global version has a single-core score of 885 and a multi-core score of 2034. It may be equipped with a Snapdragon 695 processor. In addition, it offers 8GB of RAM as an option and comes pre-installed with the Android 13 operating system.
Furthermore, the Geekbench score website did not display any more information about the new device.

As previously reported by Gizcoupon, this phone has also passed the Thailand NBTC certification. However, the certification page did not reveal much about the device’s specifications.
In comparison, the previously listed OPPO A98 is equipped with a 2.2GHz octa-core processor. It features a 6.7-inch 2412×1080 resolution OLED screen, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.07 billion colors, and 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
In terms of other specifications, the device is expected to be 7.7mm thick and weighs 171g. It has a 16MP front camera and a 108MP+2MP dual rear camera. It also has a built-in 4690mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging.
