According to report of Gizcouponon April 13th, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra new product launch will be held on the evening of April 18th. According to the latest official announcement, the Xiaomi Band 8 will also debut at the event.

The Mi Band 8 still uses a pill-shaped design. However, the wristband is now detachable on both sides instead of being embedded. This design has appeared in the Xiaomi Band 7 Pro. It seems that Xiaomi has brought it to the standard version of the Mi Band 8.
According to the certification information, the Mi Band 8 features Bluetooth 5.1. Moreover, it has an internal DC 3.87V polymer lithium-ion battery with model number M2239B1. As seen in the picture, there are also some design changes on the back of the Mi Band 8. There is a small button on the back that is probably used to remove the strap.
