Xiaomi is set to release its latest flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, this month. According to a report from Gizcoupon on April 7th, the phone will feature Leica’s latest Summicron lens, which is sure to excite photography enthusiasts. In addition, blogger @数码闲聊站 shared a picture of what appears to be the product packaging, revealing a 12GB + 256GB black version of the phone.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra is a powerful device. It features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 flagship platform. The phone is equipped with a 6.7-inch Samsung AMOLED LTPO E6 display, boasting QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. In other words, users can expect a high-quality visual experience. It also has a 4900mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
13 Ultra uses USB 3.X interface instead of USB 2.0. This change will improve wired transmission speed, appealing to users who need fast data transfer rates.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is also rumored to feature four cameras on the back, including a 50MP main camera with a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and two 50MP telephoto lenses. The front of the phone is expected to have a 32MP camera.

In terms of memory and storage, the phone will offer 12/16GB RAM and 256/512GB of storage. However, it is unlikely that there will be a 1TB version of the phone. It will run on the MIUI 14 system based on Android 13.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra has already passed three certification tests (Wireless Transmitter Device Model Approval Certificate, Telecom Equipment Access Permit, and China Compulsory Certification) and is expected to begin pre-sale activities soon.
