Huawei P60 is planned to be released in March

Huawei plans to update its flagship P series soon. As a reminder, the Huawei P50 was uncovered at the end of 2021. Today, from various sources, we learned that the new Huawei P60 is planned to be unleashed in March this year. By the way, the Huawei P60 and Huawei P60 Pro are expected to get improved cameras, larger displays, and larger batteries. So those who have good memories with the Huawei flagship phones should be interested in these new phones.

Huawei P60 highlights

The Huawei P60 Pro should get an OLED display with a diagonal of 6.6 inches, a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The device will support backlight operation with a frequency of 1920Hz. The display will be supplied by BOE. A front camera with a resolution of 32MP will be integrated into the display. This model should receive a main camera with a Sony IMX888 main sensor. It will have a resolution of 50MP. Apart from this, we will also get an ultra-wide lens and a telephoto lens of 64MP.

The base model should also get a very advanced main camera system: IMX789 50MP and IMX888. Both models should support a variable aperture. But this is not anything new – the Huawei Mate 50 Pro supports it as well.

In both smartphones, the cameras will use the proprietary XMAGE system developed by Huawei. It includes optical stabilization systems, image processing technologies, and much more. Both smartphones are expected to support satellite communication and use Kunlun protective glass for displays.

Last year’s flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset will be responsible for the operation of the Huawei P60 Pro (although without support for fifth-generation networks). At the same time, the 5500mAh battery will be responsible for autonomy. The battery will also support 100W fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging.

There is no information about the prices and availability of any of those models.
