The OnePlus 11 is scheduled to come in January. There is still no official statement concerning the release date. But the phone has managed to appear in various databases and platforms. Among them, the latest one is the MIIT certification website. Though on the MIIT certification website, it comes as an OPPO phone, actually, it is the OnePlus 11 5G because OPPO and OnePlus have been merged.
Also, this certification means the phone will land in China and India simultaneously. On MIIT, it has the model number PHB110. So every time you see this model number in other databases, just know it is the OnePlus 11.
OnePlus 11 appearance
The phone is said to come in two colorways — Forest Emerald and Volcanic Black. Thus, they are identical to what the last year’s OnePlus 10 Pro 5G came in.
Other than that, we’ve got the renders of the upcoming phone. They show that the device will use matte, frosted, glossy materials on the back. For instance, the back panel of the Green variant will have a frosted finish, while its camera module will have a glossy finish. Plus, the camera array has a signature black finish. As for the Volcanic Black variant, it should come with a textured matte finish with a glossy camera module. By the way, the information comes our way from tipster OnLeaks, who introduced the official phone photos in collaboration with GadgetGang.
Key features
By the way, the phone will feature a triple camera and an LED flash. We can even see the Hasselblad logo in the center of the camera array. Currently, many smartphone makers cooperate with imaging companies. So it’s logical that OnePlus has selected its own partner, like Xiaomi to choose Leica. As for the specific camera parameters, there will be a new 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 32MP telephoto sensor.
We already know that this series of smartphones will sport the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Besides this, there will be other highlights as well. Say, the phone will come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a QHD+ resolution. It will have a noticeable curvature with a hole-punch cutout. The latter is for the 32MP selfie shooter. Also, the screen will support a 120Hz refresh rate.
The rest of the features include 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 4.0 native storage. There is going to be a 5000mAh capacity battery with support for 100W fast charging. But we have no clue whether it will support wireless charging.
Lastly, the phone will likely launch with Oxygen OS 13 out of the box. But in China, it should run on the ColorOS 13 system based on Android 13.
