Chuwi is a Chinese manufacturer of consumer electronics, mainly tablets, laptops, and 2-in-1 convertible devices. It focuses mainly on cheap and affordable equipment for the general public. The parameters belong to the low-end or middle class.
Chuwi History
The company itself is officially called Shenzhen Ditaier Technology and has existed since 2004. This Chinese company began work with digital MP3 players. For some reason, the network did not manage to find a single decent image. But there is this, not very decent, by which it is difficult to understand something – a photo from some store. In 2005, the company sold two million NA700 players with a 1.1-inch screen.
The Chuwi brand appeared in 2007, three years after the company was founded. Under this brand, the company continues to sell players. For example, this Chuwi S800 with a 3-inch display and 2 gigabytes of memory for listening to music and watching videos and pictures in the formats MP3, WMA, WAV, ASF, MPEG-4, AMV, DAT, JPG, BMP, FLV, JPEG, GIF.
And here is the first tablet of the company – the 7-inch Chuwi M70. In March 2009, it starts to sell at around $120. The device received a chic screen with a resolution of 700×480, on which it could perfectly play the video with a resolution of 1280×720, but the advantages of the gadget at that moment ended there. They wrote that the build quality is disappointing. The gadget had 8 gigabytes of memory.
