Transitioning to its appearance, the new 2025 BMW M4 showcases updated LED headlight and taillight designs, displaying a more avant-garde style. Consumers can opt for a new M design appearance package, featuring black or red two-color stripes running through the car’s front and rear. The M badge on the hood and textured body parts accentuate the sporty vibe.

Inside, a flat-bottomed steering wheel wrapped in Alcantara material enhances grip. The BMW iDrive 8.5 infotainment system boasts a 14.9-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, infused with technology. The standard Live Cockpit Professional system integrates navigation and M-specific head-up display functions.

Turning to power, all models house a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder twin-turbocharged engine. Three power versions are available: the normal version with a maximum power of 352 kilowatts, the thunder version with 375 kilowatts, and the thunder version four-wheel drive model with 390 kilowatts. The transmission system offers a choice between a 6-speed manual gearbox and an 8-speed automated manual gearbox.

Despite the power boost, the 0-60 mph acceleration remains consistent across M4 versions. The manual M4 takes 4.1 seconds, and the four-wheel drive Thunder version clocks in at 3.8 seconds. The four-wheel drive M4 xDrive (Coupe) achieves 3.4 seconds (with the convertible version at 3.6 seconds). Prices see a slight increase, with the base model M4 Coupe starting at $80,095. The rear-drive M4 Coupe Thunder version at $84,195, the four-wheel drive M4 Coupe Thunder Edition at $89,295, and the four-wheel drive M4 Thunder convertible version costs $96,295.
