The latest exposure indicates that the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro is featured in Xiaomi’s code, leaking a substantial amount of configuration information. The tablet bears the codename “Sheng,” incorporating the name of a traditional Chinese musical instrument, aligning with Xiaomi’s consistent tablet series naming tradition.
This tablet, identified by the product model “N81A,” has a 10-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1480×2367 and supports an impressive refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor powers its performance. In contrast, the current Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro in the market uses an 11-inch screen and features a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.
In addition, the tablet has two cameras on the back, a main camera and a depth sensor, and a selfie camera on the front. It’s just that the specific specifications are not yet clear. It also has a 4x stereo system, is only available in the Chinese market, and comes pre-installed with HyperOS based on Android 14.
It’s noteworthy that Canalys, in their global tablet market report for the third quarter of 2023, disclosed that Xiaomi’s tablet shipments reached 1.618 million units during the quarter, exhibiting a remarkable year-on-year growth rate of 119.7%. This positions Xiaomi as one of the top five brands with the highest growth rates.
