Xiaomi hosted a global new product launch event in Berlin, Germany, where they unveiled two products, the Xiaomi 13T series and the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro. They also made the announcement that Xiaomi would be launching the Xiaomi Band 8 worldwide. According to Xiaomi’s German official website, the Xiaomi Band 8 carries a price tag of 39.99 euros, which represents a higher cost compared to the Chinese version, with pricing starting at 209 yuan(about $28).
Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro Features
The Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro, is equipped with its WearOS operating system. This smartwatch not only promises lightning-fast performance and extended battery life but also boasts an improved display, making it the perfect choice for health and fitness enthusiasts.
Firstly, the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro showcases an elegantly designed stainless steel case, complemented by luxurious leather or a robust Viton strap. Xiaomi Band 8 Features
It is important to note that Xiaomi initially released the Xiaomi Band 8 in China back in April this year, offering two configurations: a standard version and an NFC-enabled version. Xiaomi proudly reports that the cumulative shipments of this device in China have soared to 1.1 million units. In just a few months, it has effortlessly surpassed the one-million mark, establishing itself as Xiaomi’s best-selling product.
Regarding its specifications, the Xiaomi Band 8 has a 1.62-inch OLED screen that supports a 60Hz refresh rate, 326PPI, and a brightness of 600nit. Users can choose from a selection of over 200 watch faces and enjoy built-in comprehensive sports monitoring features, with support for more than 150 sports modes. Furthermore, the device offers continuous heart rate monitoring, advanced sleep tracking, and all-day stress monitoring.
When it comes to battery life, the Xiaomi Band 8 offers 16 days of typical usage on a single charge and 5 days when using the Always-On Display (AOD) mode. Additionally, the device supports 2C fast charging, which significantly reduces the charging time to less than 1 hour.
