POCO F5 Pro will come as rebranded Redmi K60, and there will be no POCO F5

Recently, Redmi released a new series of flagship smartphones in the face of the Redmi K60. The latter includes three models – K60, K60 Pro, and K60E. However, the phone is available in China only. Most likely, it will land in India too. But we have no confidence whether it will come with the same name. On the other hand, we know that these models will appear on the international market under the name of the POCO F5. Well, not everything is as clear as you might think.

Redmi K60E

A Polska tech blogger Katzper Skrzypek claims that the Redmi K60 will go global as the POCO F5 Pro. But he also thinks that there will be no POCO F5 model. Thus, everything we have heard about it is false.

POCO F5 Pro specs

Anyway, the base version of the Redmi K60 will be renamed the POCO F5 Pro for the international market. Let’s take a look at its features disclosed through various leaks:

The cost of the POCO F5 Pro, the start date of sales, and the geography of delivery remain unknown.

In order to understand whether there are differences between the Chinese and international variants, let’s recall the selling points of the Redmi K60. The latter sports a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, 6.67-inch top-notch 2K screen, a large 5500mAh battery, which supports 67W wired fast charging, LPDDR5+UFS 3.1 memory and storage combination, and the same 64MP + 8MP + 2MP camera on the rear. The prices started at 2499 yuan ($359). So it turns out everything will remain unchanged. But we have no clue how much it will cost when released internationally.
