Everything you should know about Reno 9 series
All three models use the same camera design. However, it is worth noting that OPPO Reno 9 does not have the word “Powered by MariSilicon.” This means that only the Reno 9 Pro and the Reno 9 Pro+ will use OPPO’s own ISP module. In addition, the Reno 9 and Reno 9 Pro use a dual-camera setup, while the Pro+ uses a triple-camera solution.
The three models of Reno 9, 9 Pro, and 9 Pro+ have the same screen size. It’s a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 10-bit color. Under the display, it will have a fingerprint scanner.
As for hardware and performance, the OPPO Reno 9 series will sport the Snapdragon 778G, Dimensity 8100-Max, and Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipsets respectively. Regarding memory, it will use up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, while the storage will be up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The first two models will have a 4,500mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. The Reno 9 Pro+ will have a 4,700mAh battery supporting 80W fast charging. They all will leave the factory with Android 13-based ColorOS 13 UI.
Finally, the Reno 9 will feature a 64-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel secondary camera. The Reno 9 Pro will come with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The Reno 9 Pro+ will have an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The three Reno 9 models also feature a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 front camera.
