The Xiaomi Pad 5 is a new tablet launched in the last three years. Running a Snapdragon 860, it is among the most powerful Android tablets out there. It comes with an 11” display of 2560×1600 pixel resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The 10-bit panel comes with support for Dolby Vision and HDR10 and promises up to 500 nits brightness, as well as the TrueTone technology, for adapting the colors and brightness to ambient light. The interface remains MIUI but is now adapted for tablets. Also, it brings multi-screen support for over 300 apps.
Xiaomi Pad 5 Powerful Processor
The Mi Pad 5 is a tablet of the upper class. A correspondingly fast processor like the Snapdragon 860 is, therefore, a must. Xiaomi has created sufficient performance for future app generations in the Xiaomi Pad 5 with the Octa-Core processor. The central unit was manufactured using the 7nm process; it clocks at up to 2.96GHz. it is accompanied by an Adreno 640 GPU. A total of 6 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB ROM complete the hardware ensemble.
An Eye-opener Without Question
Even at first glance, the similarity to the latest generation Apple iPad is obvious. With its rounded edges, the narrow display borders, and the characteristic camera module on the back of the case, the Xiaomi Pad 5 undoubtedly gives a very high-quality impression. The case is made entirely of aluminum and measures 254.69 × 166.265 × 6.85 mm. The weight of 511 grams is pleasingly low.
Quality is also offered with regard to the camera. The Xiaomi Pad 5 has a strong main sensor with a resolution of 13 megapixels. An 8-megapixel selfie camera is installed on the front. In addition to photos, videos can of course also be recorded in high quality with up to 1080p at 30 FPS.
