In fact, we are dealing with the first 4K printer in the Mars series. In addition, this high-resolution 4K LCD screen features a print resolution of 35 microns. So, we can assure you that this printer will bring you a higher level of detail at an even larger print volume than its predecessors.

The Elegoo Mars 3 also offers a large print volume as it is 143 x 89.6 x 175 mm. Our protagonist features a significantly larger printing capacity than its predecessors and other 4K printers. It is also worth mentioning, that the printer comes with a plastic shell. This material makes it be less sturdy than a solid metal base, plus, weighs much lighter. It weighs only 13.67 lbs.

The printer also works with a front-facing 3.5-inch color touchscreen LCD. As for other elements that make the operation and interaction more convenient, it also has a USB input as well as a power button. The latter with the LCD screen is located on the front of the machine.

The printer from the Elegoo®  brand also works with a combination of a threaded rod, a captive nut, and a linear rail for movement on the Z-axis. Moreover, thanks to its solid linear rail, the machine will ensure smooth and quiet printing.

We would like to add that this machine also uses 405nm UV resin. It is a material that you surely will need to handle safely when in an uncured state. The latter will help you to avoid injury. This resin is harmful when it drops into your skin. However note that you should wear gloves when pouring, cleaning up, or handling uncured resin.
