The BIQU B1 SE Plus 3D Printer has several differences compared to its predecessors. The B1 SE Plus features improved bed leveling including fixed bed leveling with hot and probing for completely automatic and integrated bed leveling. In addition, pre-print automatic leveling gives an opportunity to eliminate print failures. Uneven print surfaces with minimal delays are probably the main reason for print failures.
BIQU B1 SE Plus 3D Printer Features
The “SE” in the name perhaps refers to “Special Edition”. At the same time, the “Plus” stands for the extra built volume. The print volume of the Biqu B1 SE Plus uses a print volume of up to 310 x 310 x 340mm. On the other hand, besides the large print volume, there are also Z-axis brackets. You should attach these brackets to the printer’s base from the side. In the cases of other models, Z-axis brackets are attached to the top.
Instead of the simple USB Type-C connection, the B1 SE Plus adopts a heftier cable. Moreover, there are no backports as we have seen on the original B1 model. On the right side, the 3D printer has slots to add a second Z-axis lead screw or stepper motor. However, the printer lacks ports for RGB lighting or a Wi-Fi module to install without difficulties.
It is also worth noting that the printer comes with both a touchscreen UI and a rotary knob. Thus, in case the touchscreen gets out of the way, it is an advantage to have a second interface. In order to ensure a successful printing process, the B1 SE Plus supports a filament sensor and power loss recovery. As for the noise, the printer works in an almost silent noise. There is no need to worry about disturbing surroundings. As a result, we have a 3D printer that will be a good option for both beginners and professional users.
