Summer is promised to be hot for POCO and its fans. Just recently, we reported about a new entry-level smartphone under this brand that was launched globally. And now, we have another piece of news concerning the POCO F4 5G. Unlike the newly-launched POCO C40, this model will be a mid-to-top-end smartphone with a number of attractive features. Well, its launch is around the corner, and as the company said, we will meet it on June 23.
POCO F4 5G Specs
Much earlier, we have seen the phone leaked in spy photos. And even earlier than that, we had received tons of leaks and rumors disclosing this or that spec of the handset. Well, according to them, the POCO F4 5G will feature probably the most popular Qualcomm chip, namely the Snapdragon 870. Of course, it’s not the most popular among other Qualcomm 8 series chips, but there are myriads of smartphones in the Android camp sporting this chip. Well, the latter is also paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
Apart from this, we have heard that our protagonist will feature a Super AMOLED display with support for 1300 nits peak brightness. It will be 667 inches in size and support a 120Hz refresh rate.
In terms of photography, this smartphone will sport a 64MP main camera with support for OIS (optical image stabilization). The rest of the camera sensors will have an 8MP resolution as well as a 2MP resolution. On the opposite side, we will find a 20MP front-facing camera for HD video calls and outstanding selfies.
Well, the POCO F4 5G is said to be the rebranded version of the Redmi K40S, which was out in March this year. The latter also came with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, a 20MP selfie camera, side fingerprint recognition, stereo speakers, and a 4500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. So there is every reason to think the POCO model will inherit almost all features from its sibling.
