Realme 12 Pro Series Adds AIGC Elimination Function

Realme announced today that the AIGC Elimination Function is officially rolling out for the Realme 12 Pro series smartphones. Starting today, OTA updates will be gradually released.

AIGC stands for Artificial Intelligence Generative Content, which intelligently identifies image content to eliminate unnecessary elements, resulting in cleaner and more natural images. Previously, the realme GT5 Pro smartphone had already received this feature upgrade. To use it: “Photo Editing” – “AIGC Elimination” – “Select and Remove Objects”.

In February this year, realme launched the 12 Pro series smartphones. These smartphones feature a 6.7-inch 2412×1080 OLED curved screen. The screen boasts a maximum global brightness of 800nit and a peak brightness of 950nit. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate along with 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. Additionally, they come with TÜV Rheinland eye protection certification. Moreover, they introduce a new wet finger touch function.

The realme 12 Pro+ is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, with a 32MP front camera (Sony IMX615), and a rear camera setup including a 50MP main sensor (Sony IMX890, OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens (Samsung Hi846W), and a 64MP periscope telephoto lens (OmniVision OV64B, OIS).

The realme 12 Pro comes with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. It features a 16MP front camera, the Samsung Hi1634Q. Additionally, its rear camera setup comprises a 50MP main sensor, the Sony IMX882 with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, the Samsung Hi846W, and a 32MP telephoto lens, the Sony IMX709 with OIS.
