iPhone 16: Introduction of Operation Button and Camera Button

The most recent source of information, Majin Bu, has tweeted revealing the CAD renders of the upcoming Apple iPhone 16, shedding light on three significant changes. In the leaked CAD renders corroborated by previous sources, there’s a potential redesign of the iPhone 16’s rear, opting for a vertical camera arrangement.

Additionally, the render images suggest that the iPhone 16 model will adopt the “operation button” introduced in the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, bidding farewell to the iconic Apple mute switch.

Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, citing sources, asserts that the “camera button” on the iPhone 16, now a standard feature, will not only serve for video recording but also for capturing still photos. Recent sources hint at its potential use, resembling digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) cameras, allowing for pre-shooting adjustments using pressure sensitivity to control the focus.

A highlight of the iPhone 16 is the new camera button. CAD renderings provide a closer look at this much-anticipated feature, revealing that the camera button will be flush with the phone’s body. The design details align with previous rumors. Notably, the button is positioned below the side key or power key.
