Today, Li Nan, a former Meizu executive, unveiled authentic photos of the Meizu 21 Pro. He disclosed that the official was originally scheduled to be released on February 29. Looking at the pictures, the Meizu 21 Pro appears similar to the Meizu 20 INFINITY Unbounded Edition.
In his assessment, Li Nan has been actively using the Meizu 21 Pro for some time and finds it commendable. However, its success against the Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Huawei Pocket 2 remains uncertain, especially if priced above 5,000 yuan.
Wan Zhiqiang, Meizu Technology’s assistant vice president, retweeted the Weibo post. He mentioned that the original plan was to schedule the 21 Pro’s release on February 29, a unique date marking a leap month and day in a leap year, intending to make a statement every four years. Unexpectedly, the unveiling encountered complications.
It was previously reported that the Meizu21 Pro had secured 3C certification and network access permits. The model numbers M481Q and M481S were indicated, with the certification confirming support for up to 80W fast charging, produced by Lens Technology. The well-known tech blogger @数码闲聊站 mentioned that it would feature a “rare” 2K screen and a large-area ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, set to launch after the holiday season.
On the first day of the Year of the Dragon, Meizu officially introduced All in AI, signaling a halt to new traditional smartphone projects. Instead, they will fully invest in future AI-driven devices for the next generation.
According to reliable sources, the Meizu 21 Pro will incorporate ultrasonic fingerprints, a 2K high-refresh screen, and satellite communication capabilities. Additionally, it will boast a periscope telephoto lens, 100W-level wired fast charging, and 50W wireless charging.
