Recently, Huawei launched the pre-sale of its AX6 Pro router, set to debut at 10:08 on February 24, with a pre-sale price of 699 yuan ($97). The Huawei router AX6 Pro boasts support for Wi-Fi6+, featuring a 7200-megabit network and the capability of 8 simultaneous data streams. Additionally, it incorporates the latest 4K-QAM data compression technology, boosting speeds by 140%.
Breaking down the theoretical negotiation rates, the product achieves 1376Mbps at 2.4GHz, 5765Mbps at 5GHz, and an overall theoretical rate of 7141Mbps. Notably, it introduces Lingxi Dual Wi-Fi, akin to Wi-Fi 7’s MLO (Multiple Connection Mode), allowing simultaneous data transmission on the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency bands. Furthermore, the AX6 Pro employs dual-band 4×4&4K QAM modulation, utilizing 8 data streams for concurrent data transmission—a 140% increase compared to its predecessor, the AX3 Pro.
Enhancements also include 8-channel signal amplification with 8 high-performance signal amplifiers, claiming the ability to “easily penetrate three walls.” It incorporates Huawei’s self-developed AI anti-interference technology, intelligently identifying and avoiding Wi-Fi co-channel interference from sources like neighboring Wi-Fi, microwave ovens, and induction cookers.
A standout feature is the one-touch connection with mobile phones. By activating the NFC function on HarmonyOS or Android phones, users can seamlessly connect to the Wi-Fi network without a password. Another touch brings up the shortcut menu, facilitating easy access. The Huawei Smart Life App enables real-time network coverage checks and supports the detection and diagnosis of 80 common network faults.
