Sony WH-XB920N Headphones Spotted: 35 Hour Battery Life

Sony’s upcoming headphone model YY2981 has successfully passed Bluetooth certification, signaling an imminent release. Sony is gearing up to launch the WH-XB920N, a potential upgrade to the WH-XB910N (model YY2951), soon. Bluetooth 5.2 technology is set to be integrated, providing a faster and more stable connection experience.

Reliable Bluetooth Connection for High-Quality Audio

The ATT Bolivia organization’s certification information reveals that the headset has an output power of 4111mW in Bluetooth BDR mode and 3819mW in Bluetooth LE mode. This ensures stability and sound quality during Bluetooth connectivity. Furthermore, beyond its commendable Bluetooth capabilities, this headset incorporates Bluetooth multi-point connection technology. This allows users to effortlessly switch between audio sources on various devices without the need for re-pairing, significantly enhancing user convenience.

The new headphones prioritize hardware button operation over touch control for volume adjustment and music playback, enhancing the user experience. They also introduce Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), isolating external noise for a better listening experience than the previous generation, which only had digital noise reduction.

Concerning battery life, reports indicate that this headset can last for 35 hours with the ANC function activated, boasting a 520mAh battery capacity. Notably, it rapidly charges, providing one hour of power with just a 3-minute plug-in, addressing scenarios that require urgent charging or prolonged usage.

Addressing sound quality processing, Sony is likely to equip this headset with a V1 integrated chip, tasked with processing DSEE and overall sound quality. Additionally, it inherits features such as DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) and Bass Boost to deliver an enhanced sound quality performance.

The Sony WH-XB920N will offer users three color options: black, blue, and white. These colors cater to diverse preferences, providing a personalized choice for every user.
