MySmartPrice, a media outlet, recently released an article. It revealed official high-definition renderings of the yet-to-be-launched Xiaomi 14 Ultra for the global market. These renders showcase the front design of the device, marking Xiaomi’s first smartphone with a completely flat display.
The front design of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra features a centrally arranged punch-hole camera, surrounded by minimalist borders. Subtle curves on the sides suggest a 2.5D quad-curved screen. Despite this, the pictures indicate that Xiaomi might adopt a direct-screen solution this time, without affecting the actual display effect.
High-resolution renders confirm that Xiaomi’s upcoming 14 Ultra will come in black and white or silver. In comparison to its predecessor, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, the main appearance change is a slight styling adjustment of the camera module. A silver frame around the new camera module enhances the overall visual effect, maintaining consistency in the positioning of the Leica logo, camera sensor, and LED flash.
The power button and volume rocker will be on the phone’s right side, with a textured design on the power button for a comfortable grip. Antenna marks on both sides contribute to the phone’s aesthetic appeal. At the bottom, the phone includes a speaker grille, USB Type C port, and main microphone. The upcoming Xiaomi mobile phone will interchange the positions of these two parts compared to the Xiaomi 13 super large mobile phone.
High-resolution renderings also reveal a top grille with minor horns. Although the rendering does not show it, we expect the new phone to retain the secondary microphone and IR thermal receiver. The left side of the phone has a simple design, featuring only the antenna mark. Both black and white or silver options are likely to have a textured design, possibly made of leather. The Xiaomi logo will be engraved on the left side of the phone’s back.
Expected specifications for Xiaomi 14 Ultra:
- Display: 6.7-inch QHD+ 120Hz LTPO AMOLED display with an under-display fingerprint reader.
- Processor: Powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with Adreno GPU for graphics.
- RAM/Storage: Up to 16GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB.
- Camera: 50MP Sony LYT900 primary camera, 50MP 3.2x telephoto sensor, 50MP 5x telephoto lens, and 50MP ultra-wide-angle snapper. Possibly a 32MP front sensor.
- Software: Android 14 globally, HyperOS in China.
- Battery: Rumored 5300mAh battery, supporting 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
