The iQOO Z9 is reported to feature a 1.5K resolution OLED screen with high-frequency PWM dimming to ease eye fatigue. In addition, it has a 6,000 mAh battery, which is 1,000 mAh more than the iQOO Z8 battery. The core of the iQOO Z9 will be the Snapdragon 7 Gen3, built on TSMC’s 4nm process, employing a 1+3+4 architecture design for the CPU.
The Snapdragon 7 Gen3 CPU consists of 12.63GHz+32.4GHz+4*1.8GHz, with an Adeno 720 GPU. The chip enhances AI performance by 90% and energy efficiency by 60%, promising a more potent AI experience.
In addition, the previous generation model iQOO Z8 is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chip, LPDDR5 memory, and UFS 3.1 flash memory. The phone boasts a 3002mm² VC vapor chamber for heat dissipation, measuring 8.75mm thick and weighing 201.5g. Color options include Moon White, Hoshino Cyan, and Yaoye Black.
The phone sports a 6.64-inch 2388×1080 resolution 120Hz refresh rate LCD punch-hole straight screen. It has a 240Hz game touch sampling rate, typical brightness of 480nit, peak brightness of 500nit, and exciting brightness of 650nit. The screen is HDR10 certified and supports Global DC dimming.
In terms of battery, the phone packs a 5000mAh unit, supporting 1460 deep charge and discharge cycles. It features 120W fast charging, reaching 50% charge in 10 minutes. Additionally, it supports 30W integrated fast charging protocol, 65W PD fast charging, and 7.5W reverse charging.
