Xiaomi introduces the MIX Flip, its inaugural vertical folding model, with distinctive front and rear screen design, lens specifications, and system features. It has the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor and supports satellite communication technology.
Revealed details highlight the MIX Flip’s spacious external screen, promoting lightweight use and minimizing internal screen usage for increased hinge lifespan and enhanced battery performance.
The external screen, utilizing the rear lens for selfies, excels in capturing self-portraits. Expected to feature three rear cameras, including main, ultra-wide-angle, and telephoto lenses, it offers comprehensive focal length coverage. Additionally, the MIX Flip incorporates satellite communication functions, utilizing the same domestic solution as the Xiaomi Mi 14 Ultra for two-way communication via the Tiantong satellite, supporting messaging and calls.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor, the MIX Flip delivers impressive performance. However, considering the constraints of small folding screen phones, battery capacity becomes crucial. Presently, these phones feature relatively small batteries, with the highest reaching only 4300mAh.
