NVIDIA RTX 4070 SUPER Founder Edition Graphics Card will be available on JD.com at 15:00 (Beijing time) today, priced at 4899 yuan (about $689).
Moving on to its design, this graphics card adopts a deep black color, maintaining the slot design and 600px card body consistency with the previous generation. Built on the AD104 core, specifically the AD104-350 model, it houses 7168 CUDA cores, a 22% increase compared to the RTX 4070’s 5888 core count.
Keeping in line with the RTX 4070, the NVIDIA RTX 4070 SUPER Founder Edition Graphics Card features the same 12GB GDDR6X memory with a 192-bit memory interface. The base frequency is boosted from 1920MHz to 1980MHz, while the boost frequency remains unchanged at 2475MHz.
In terms of the physical structure, it maintains excellent chassis compatibility with its slot design and 600px card body. The 8-layer PCB board and 6-phase power supply design, including 2 phases dedicated to powering GDDR6X, contribute to its overall performance.
Looking at the core specifications, it utilizes the AD104-350-A1, featuring a chip area of 294mm², 35.8 billion transistors, and TSMC’s 4nm custom process. For heat dissipation, a copper base design and 4 heat pipes ensure quick heat expansion into the aluminum heat sink. The dual-axis fan enhances airflow for efficient cooling. Regarding connectivity, the I/O interface includes 3 DP1.4a interfaces and an HDMI 2.1 interface, supporting up to 8K@60Hz output.
