Xiaomi is set to release the POCO X6 Pro on January 11, marking its latest global announcement. The device will come equipped with Hyper OS, marking the first global release of HyperOS. In the future, it will likely fully replace the MIUI system in global markets.

Based on Xiaomi’s earlier teasers and FCC certification details, the Poco X6 will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chip, offering two storage options of 8GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB for consumers to choose from. Additionally, the new device boasts commendable performance in terms of its screen, battery life, and imaging capabilities.
Specifically, the POCO X6 Pro sports a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a high refresh rate of 120Hz and a maximum brightness of 1800 nits. Whether for daily use or gaming, it promises users the ultimate visual experience. Concerning battery life, the phone houses a 5500mAh large-capacity battery with support for 67W fast charging technology, ensuring prolonged usage without power concerns. The addition of an on-screen fingerprint recognition sensor enhances the phone’s convenience and security.
In the imaging department, the POCO X6 Pro features a rear three-camera setup, including a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. Paired with a dual-color temperature LED flash, it excels in capturing landscapes, portraits, and distant macro photography. The front camera, at 16MP, meets users’ needs for selfies and video calls.
On October 26, 2023, Xiaomi introduced HyperOS, which will soon expand global and integrate into the POCO X6 Pro model. The system, focusing on optimizing the system’s foundation and improving application startup speed, aims to evolve into a comprehensive ecosystem covering people, cars, and homes. The objective is to create a people-centric and fully ecological intelligent world, spanning personal devices, smart homes, and intelligent travel.
