Samsung Electronics has announced today that the upcoming Samsung Odyssey OLED gaming monitors is set to debut at CES 2024 in Las Vegas next week. The lineup includes three distinct models.
The Odyssey OLED G9 boasts a 49-inch curved hairtail screen with a 32:9 aspect ratio and DQHD (5,120 x 1,440) resolution. It features an upgraded 240Hz refresh rate, a rapid 0.03ms GTG response time, and various other enhancements.
As for the Odyssey OLED G8, it marks Samsung’s entry into the realm of 32-inch flat-panel OLED displays. With 4K UHD (3,840 x 2,160) resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate, and a swift 0.03ms GTG response time. This model promises a high-quality gaming experience.
The Odyssey OLED G6, a 27-inch QHD (2,560 x 1,440) monitor, stands out with its impressive 360Hz refresh rate and a quick 0.03ms GTG response time.
Across the board, all three new products incorporate OLED Glare-Free technology to minimize reflected light. Additionally, they support VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology. Equipped with two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 interface, and one USB hub, these monitors are versatile. Samsung Odyssey OLED gaming monitor also feature VESA wall mounting, height adjustability, and support tilt, swivel, and pivot functionalities.
